THIS IS THE BEST NATURAL GLITTER IN THE WORLD.

The majority of glitters are made from plastics which give an artificial look when they reflect light. Diamond Dust is different as it is made from tiny flakes of glass, when these reflect light it achieves a unique diamond-like effect.

Stuart's Diamond Dust is different! Over the last decade he has been collaborating with an industrial chemical company (they normally use these glass flakes to re-enforce concrete for building coatings). There is nothing like this substance available anywhere to the art community.

Unlike normal diamond dust, Stuart's 'super-shards' are larger and in random, irregular shapes meaning they reflect more light from more angles.

Stuart has used the highest grade glass possible which means is is almost perfectly clear (99.8% clarity if you want to get geeky). When you encrust your art with it it's almost invisible! These shards are also super-flat meaning they lay down neatly on your surface. 

If you sprinkle this over your art you'll still see your art perfectly through it! 

HOW TO USE IT

Treat it as glitter, so use a varnish, PVA glue or gel medium. Sprinkle from a height to achieve an even covering. 

Can I mix it into Resin?

Yes! we recommend using Epoxy Resin.

BE CAREFUL!

Remember these are tiny shards of glass you are playing with! So please be sensible, wear gloves if you handle it, clean up after you, don't use it near food. You really don't want a glass splinter! If you have kids please supervise them and don't let them use this on their own. Use common sense please, we don't want any accidents.

As always, we’ve taken the finest pigments, acrylic resins and blended them by hand with love in our little studio on the South Coast of England.

TO USE IT:

1. Shake the bottle well
2. Apply with a brush (build up several layers if required, lots of thin economical layers are most effective)
3. To spray - dilute with 30% water
4. Wash brushes with warm water

EASY KLEIN, High pigment, super-matte acrylic, 150ml

In 1960 the artist Yves Klein registered the formulation for his iconic International Klein Blue (IKB), which meant other artists couldn’t use it. 

Now, for the first time in history, we are able to share an Incredibly Kleinish Blue of our own with all artists.

AN INCREDIBLY KLEINISH BLUE 

Like Klein’s original formula the effect of this paint is a unique, rich, and distinctive blue. Totally flat, and ultra-matte. A beautiful absorbing almost powdery tone. Unlike Klein’s formula this paint is not toxic, doesn’t smell bad and the pure pigment doesn’t clump. It’s a joy to paint with.

TO USE IT:

5. We advise not to put Coat as a top coat over Easyklein as it may reduce the matteness and diminish the colour slightly!

POTION is a range of top quality professional acrylic paints by Stuart Semple. 

After 15 years of making his own paints, Stuart Semple has been able to formulate and release a new breed of acrylic paint. For the first time his FULL RAINBOW palette is available for all artists* to share in these incredible colours.

POTION is made in small batches in a paint factory attached to Stuart's studio in England. These are extremely special paints that only use the very best pure acrylic resins, they're mega-saturated with the finest quality pigments in the world. Stuart has also added a distinctive scent to each of his colour creations. Unlike other commercial paint brands (mentioning no names) there's absolutely no scrimping on quantity or quality of ingredients here.

Stuart has designed these paints to withstand the demands and challenges of today's contemporary painters. These are not student quality or craft quality paints, These super potent mixes are made to pack a punch on a variety of surfaces and stand the test of time. Meaning your work will stay brilliant and vibrant for centuries.

In the usual open-source spirit, these paints have been designed to play perfectly with almost any other acrylic paint or medium that you might already be using.

POTION can be used on canvas, paper, wood, plaster, fabric, masonry and almost any non-slick, non-oily surface.

• Air dry in approx 30 mins at 21 degrees centigrade, re-coat after 3 hours.
• Water resistant when dry
• Water soluble when wet
• Brush - straight from bottle
• Roller - dilute with 10% water
• Airbrush / spray - dilute with 20 - 25% water
• Outdoors - yes!
• Lightfastness - as good as it gets!
• Archival quality - of course
• Coverage - one bottle approx 2.4 x 2.4 meters (varies depending on absorbency tested on gesso'd canvas)
• Fabric - yes it sticks well to most fabrics. It will make it stiff, if you add water it might reduce the colour. When dry, it's permanent so no heat setting needed. Hand wash clothes and dry on the line. Leave for 5 days before first wash.
• Compatibility with other acrylics & mediums - plays nicely with most mediums and acrylic paint brands.
• Scents - what twisted mind makes bubblegum and parma-violet scented pro acrylic paint?
• Clean up - wash with warm soapy water, don't let it dry on your brush.

Since we released the original LIT you've all been asking if we could make it work with other colours. As it relied on naturally occurring earth elements to work, we weren't sure if we could pull it off BUT we've finally cracked it! 

PINK LIT IS HERE and it is a gorgeous pink toned version of the most powerful light emitting pigment on the planet!

This creation by Stuart Semple blends some of the planet's finest light emitting pigments and rare earth activators to provide all artists* with the ultimate light emitting paint. 

What does it do? 

• Unlike other glowing things, Lit can be recharged an unlimited number of times
• It's super high luminescence will often glow brighter than the ambient light around it
• After super-bright initial glow, will afterglow for up to a few hours (depending on your mix)
• Has been specially formulated to mix with superbase to create a super pigmented, mega glow paint that will stick to almost anything. 
• Mixes straight into resin 
• if you want to powdercoat things with it use STICK

Non toxic - contains no hazardous or radioactive substances. 

How do you use it?

Important - you can't just mix this with water like Stuart's other powder paints. It needs a binder and we've designed it to work with superbase to create a highly pigmented acrylic paint that will stick to almost anything. However you can also stir it into linseed oil to create an oil paint. NOTE: if you are putting it over a dark surface it's a good idea to put down a layer of white first (our saint potion is an amazing white acrylic that works well.) 

LIT MIXES STRAIGHT INTO RESIN

• Mix 1 part lit powder to 1.5 parts superbase
• if you’re having trouble try adding a tiny amount of water to lit first 
• Add more powder to achieve desired consistency
• (Feel free to experiment with ratios depending on your application)
• Optional - feel free to add a clearcoat or varnish to protect your final work
• Charge up with a light source.

• VITAL: only mix as much as you need, you can't keep LIT once it is mixed. Even in an airtight jar the chemical reaction with superbase will make it go hard.
