THIS IS THE BEST NATURAL GLITTER IN THE WORLD.

The majority of glitters are made from plastics which give an artificial look when they reflect light. Diamond Dust is different as it is made from tiny flakes of glass, when these reflect light it achieves a unique diamond-like effect.

Stuart's Diamond Dust is different! Over the last decade he has been collaborating with an industrial chemical company (they normally use these glass flakes to re-enforce concrete for building coatings). There is nothing like this substance available anywhere to the art community.

Unlike normal diamond dust, Stuart's 'super-shards' are larger and in random, irregular shapes meaning they reflect more light from more angles.

Stuart has used the highest grade glass possible which means is is almost perfectly clear (99.8% clarity if you want to get geeky). When you encrust your art with it it's almost invisible! These shards are also super-flat meaning they lay down neatly on your surface. 

If you sprinkle this over your art you'll still see your art perfectly through it! 

HOW TO USE IT

Treat it as glitter, so use a varnish, PVA glue or gel medium. Sprinkle from a height to achieve an even covering. 

Can I mix it into Resin?

Yes! we recommend using Epoxy Resin.

Remember these are tiny shards of glass you are playing with! So please be sensible, wear gloves if you handle it, clean up after you, don't use it near food. You really don't want a glass splinter! Since we released the original LIT you've all been asking if we could make it work with other colours. As it relied on naturally occurring earth elements to work, we weren't sure if we could pull it off BUT we've finally cracked it! 

BLUE LIT IS HERE and it is a gorgeous blue toned version of the most powerful light emitting pigment on the planet!

This creation by Stuart Semple blends some of the planet's finest light emitting pigments and rare earth activators to provide all artists* with the ultimate light emitting paint. 

What does it do? 

• Unlike other glowing things, Lit can be recharged an unlimited number of times
• It's super high luminescence will often glow brighter than the ambient light around it 
• After super-bright initial glow, will afterglow for up to a few hours (depending on your mix)
• Has been specially formulated to mix with superbase to create a super pigmented, mega glow paint that will stick to almost anything. 
• Mixes straight into resin 

Non toxic - contains no hazardous or radioactive substances. 

How do you use it?

Important - you can't just mix this with water like Stuart's other powder paints. It needs a binder and we've designed it to work with superbase to create a highly pigmented acrylic paint that will stick to almost anything. However you can also stir it into linseed oil to create an oil paint. NOTE: if you are putting it over a dark surface it's a good idea to put down a layer of white first (our saint potion is an amazing white acrylic that works well) 

LIT MIXES STRAIGHT INTO RESIN

• Mix 1 part lit powder to 1.5 parts Superbase
• If you’re having trouble try adding a tiny amount of water to lit first 
• Add more powder to achieve desired consistency
• (Feel free to experiment with ratios depending on your application)
• Optional - feel free to add a clearcoat or varnish to protect your final work
• Charge up with a light source.

• VITAL: only mix as much as you need, you can't keep LIT once it is mixed. Even in an airtight jar the chemical reaction with Superbase will make it go hard.

This is a super black micronized pigment by Stuart Semple. It is exceptionally lightfast. 

This is the 1.0 BLACK pigment that was originally released as as part of the beta version during development of Stuart’s BLACK.

Due to so many requests we’ve decided to make this legacy version available whilst stocks last. 

We won’t be producing any more of the BLACK 1.0 pigment because it has been superseded by BLACK 2.0 which contains a significantly improved pigment and the perfect pigment to base ratio. (you can check out black 2.0 here) 

IMPORTANT

BLACK 1.0 pigment is NOT bindable with water! (This is different from all Stuart's other powder colours). You can't just add water to make it into a paint. To use it you will need to mix it with a binder or a base of your choice.

It will mix with linseed oil to create oil paint or your choice of acrylic medium. 

It was originally designed to work with Stuart’s own Super Base - if you are looking to create a super matte, super flat paint. You can order Super Base HERE

 HOW TO USE WITH SUPER BASE

1. Squeeze out some super base onto a mixing surface, palette or plate
2. Spoon in the powder mixing slowly until it becomes so lumpy you can't possibly add in any more
3. Add a few drops of water and stir
4. Keep adding water (slowly and carefully) until you get the flow you want
5. Use it like a paint

This is the SILVERIEST SILVER

Authentic metallic silver finish.

Last year we made the goldest gold. Since then everyone has been after a realistic, true metallic looking silver that one you can apply with a brush or a spray.

We wanted it to be as true to life as possible so in the end the only way to get it right was to use actual real silver particles. We worked out how to suspend them beautifully in an acrylic. The finished effect is very much like genuine silver leaf in a bottle. 

We tested all the other silver acrylics out there and we weren't impressed, so we are hyped to be able to contribute this paint to the art community. 

the Silveriest Silver is made lovingly by hand by our little paint making team in our studio on the South Coast of England.

IMPORTANT - as this paint contains actual metals please please don't paint it on your skin, if you get a bit on your hands it's fine but wash them after you've finished. Keep it away from your eyes and mouth and do your best not to swallow any!

Here it is... finally Stuart has shared a full set of 4 intermixable LIT's. This means that the world's most potent light emitting pigments can be combined to create an almost unlimited spectrum of your own glow-in-the-dark colours!

LIT is pretty incredible stuff! It's a unique combination of colourants and naturally occurring earth elements that once charged, chuck out light like nothing else! They can glow for up to a few hours and if charged well can glow brighter than the ambient light around them. It's like light in a jar! It can be re-charged an unlimited number of times! 

It's important to know that all the LIT's (apart from the classic original lit) will need UV light to charge fully, so sunlight is your best bet! Classic LIT can be charged with almost any light source - i.e your phone light, house lights etc.. 

How do you use it?

Well, you need to mix it into a paint, you have a few options

• Oil paint - just mix it straight into linseed oil 
• Acrylic - mix it into an acrylic base or our superbase
• Toys / miniatures / plastic stuff and fingernails - mix it directly into a clear nail varnish
• Resin - it mixes straight in 
• Exterior projects - mix into a good exterior grade polyurethane varnish from your local hardware store. 

TOP TIP: It's best painted over a light colour so put down a layer of white first - we recommend our saint potion (as it's really really good white paint)

Non toxic - contains no hazardous or radioactive substances. but DO NOT eat it or leave it on skin please!

SHIFT makes it easy to create a variety of colour-shifting artworks and objects. 

Finally it’s possible for all artists* from anywhere in the world to paint with the rainbow!

SHIFT changes from BLACK through the spectrum at temperatures between 24 and 29 degrees centigrade. When you touch things coated with it your body heat will enable them to change colour, or they will change in different environments. 

SHIFT makes use of BLACK 2.0 (the mattest, flattest black acrylic) as a base coat and Stuart’s RAINBOW LIQUID, which is a very special coating that uses the best quality Chiral Liquid (one of the world's most expensive colour changing substances) in a unique varnish that is perfectly compatible with BLACK 2.0, and designed to shift colour on almost any surface (even unicorns!)

 Each colour changing paint pack contains:

• 50ml Black 2.0 acrylic paint
• 2ml Rainbow Liquid coating 

Estimated coverage 20cm square (depending on how porous surface is and how many coats are required).

HOW TO USE IT:

BASE LAYER 

• paint your object or artwork with BLACK 2.0 (use a soft brush and a LITTLE paint) you might need a couple of coats. If you are coating a porous surface (cardboard, wood etc) it’s a good idea to seal it first with watered down PVA glue

RAINBOW LIQUID (can be applied by brush OR spray airbrush) 

• Pour out a small amount of Rainbow Liquid, give it a good mix with the end of a paintbrush
• Paint a nice, even thin layer over the BLACK 2.0
• Let it dry and repeat if you want (probably not necessary)
• To airbrush: add a small amount of distilled water to rainbow liquid, stir well and coat with a few thin even layers. 

IMPORTANT INFO

• RAINBOW LIQUID is ALIVE so you need to store it in the fridge until you use it. 
• Give it a little shake every couple of days to keep it activated

 DO NOT

• Eat, drink, ingest, tattoo or swallow these potions

We have produced a small batch of Stuart Semple’s RAINBOW LIQUID coating as 5ml refills.

This amazing living coating is designed to be applied over Black 2.0 to create a surface that morphs through the spectrum between temperatures of 24 and 29 degrees C. 

Although RAINBOW LIQUID will work on other surfaces and over other materials, we recommend dark non-porous surfaces and find Black 2.0 gives the best results.

• Fabric - yes it sticks well to most fabrics. It will make it stiff, if you add water it might reduce the colour. When dry, it's permanent so no heat setting needed. Hand wash clothes and dry on the line. Leave for 5 days before first wash.
• Compatibility with other acrylics & mediums - plays nicely with most mediums and acrylic paint brands.

Super bright high pigment fluorescent blue powder paint by Stuart Semple 

This ultra-bright paint by Stuart Semple is available to everyone except Anish Kapoor! (who won't share his black!). This paint is available exclusively from CultureHustle.com.

Visible light is powerfully reflected by this high pigment paint to create a strong fluorescent effect. 

Stuart has chosen this cyan shade to complement his pink, green and yellow powders. Completing the spectrum and enabling artists to intermix these powders to create a vast neon palette. 

Just add water or and mix to a thick consistency. Dilute as required. NOTE: this pigment is water activated, to make super florescent you need to mix with water, linseed, an acrylic medium or Stuart's Superbase!

Can I mix it into Resin?

Yes! we recommend using Epoxy Resin.

Tip: It goes bonkers under a black light ;)
