Shipping Information

We create the World's Best Art Materials, hand-made in Dorset, England by artists for artists.

We believe art materials should travel further than politicians’ manifestos. Our mission is to get creative tools to people all over the world, and we do everything we can to keep shipping fair and affordable.

Main Shipping Locations & Typical Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination, but as a rough guide:

  • UK - Flat rate shipping available on most standard orders

  • USA - Flat rate shipping available on many standard orders

  • Europe - Rates vary by country and parcel size

  • Canada / Australia / New Zealand - International rates apply

  • Rest of World - Calculated by destination and carrier availability

Free / Subsidised Shipping

Where possible, we offer free or reduced shipping thresholds for selected regions and orders over £85.

Because sending paint, powders, liquids, and unusual creative substances across oceans is rarely simple, we sometimes subsidise shipping costs ourselves to help get materials into the right hands.

If there’s a deal available for your region, it will appear automatically at checkout.

UK Shipping

We will put your materials together as quickly as possible. We hand make all the paints in our Dorset based studio and pack them up to be sent to you, usually within a few days. Most UK parcels arrive promptly once shipped.

Flat rate UK shipping is available with free shipping over £85.

USA Shipping

We have been able to set up a United States location so all packages are now sent out within America. We've worked hard to make this happen and will bring down the costs and delivery delays with tariffs. 

Flat rate US shipping is available at £10.99, and free over £85.

Europe / Brexit Update

For a long while, Brexit created what can only be described as cross-border administrative theatre.

Customs delays, shifting paperwork, added costs, and bureaucratic interpretive dance affected many shipments.

We now have the systems and paperwork in place, though some destinations may still incur local taxes, duties, or import charges depending on your country.

USA Carrier / Warehouse Update - April 2026

We faced a period where several carriers paused, returned or cancelled US packages following tariff changes from Summer 2025. 

While setting up a new US location to help keep orders moving, that facility was unfortunately in the flight path of the Grade Lane plane crash. It was a tragedy. None of our team were harmed, but a large quantity of paint was, in technical terms, thoroughly cooked.

We now have a new US location operating from 1 April 2026, after months of the team working from temporary bases throughout winter.

Our support team is still a relatively small group of artists trying to navigate global logistics, customs systems, carrier disruptions, and reality in general.
