Actually, it’s not so much a colour but the experience of a colour.
They’ve done it by firing lasers at a specific cone inside the retina of a human eye.
The result - a totally new colour experience.
Stuart Semple has been breaking boundaries with paint on behalf of artists for nearly a decade.
He’s made a black capable of absorbing 99.9% of visible light - the blackest black. He’s used the pinkest pink to fight colour-monopolising corporate criminals and even created the brightest white ever.

Whilst YOLO isn’t exactly the same as firing a laser into your eyeball, the experience of the colour is as close as you’ll ever get with a paint. This mix's specific blend of high-frequency pigments and brighteners is designed to stimulate specific wavelengths of visual experience.
It’s impossible to photograph the experience or to show it on a screen, so until you have this colour in your hands, you’ll need to imagine it.
